I pray to Myself… for I am also God!

How often have you heard villains saying the sentence, “I am God” in movies? I guess a lot of times. I believe that they are logically correct while saying this. We all are God, or at least parts of Him. I asked many of my friends about what they believed, was the form in which God probably existed, and most of the times I got the answer that I wanted… “POWER or ENERGY”. Also, I believe that souls are also parts of the same energy which when leaves a person, he/she dies.

So, technically we all are part – Gods. Then why do we pray to God? For the same reason for which fire rises towards the Sun, for the same reason a child respects, loves, and looks up to his mother. We must always respect our source. The child that looks up to his mother rises, the fire that reaches for the Sun sustains, the souls that pray to God are blessed, but the river that originates in the mountains and flow towards the oceans lose their identity as soon as they fall into the oceans. Always respect your origin, your source, and the place you come from, let it be the heavens above, your birth place, your parents, your society where you grew up, I mean, your origin, in every sense. For instance, we all appreciate if a celebrity mentions his/her hometown and praises it even when he/she has moved out of it years ago, before even attaining fame and popularity, but we should know that there is perhaps a greater reason to it than just humility, manners, and humanity.

He lent us energy, and thus we should contribute to his work, and which is making something good out of whatever we have got. But this will lead to forming of a bad thing automatically, because then Newton’s third law comes into play… “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”. As I described in my previous web log, “Define Your Polarity Right”, there is always a bipolar effect in every action that is performed in the universe. I mean, the moment the NORTH is created, SOUTH automatically emerges, where happens to be a front, there is always a rear, and as soon as a GOOD is created an EVIL takes birth. I mean it is just impossible… just to create what is good. Technology, Cell phones, microwaves, Television, Internet, everything have their own pros and cons. When you make cars, you make pollution, when you make cell phones, you increase the chances of brain tumors, and so on. For further examples and reading, please refer to “Define Your Polarity Right”.

It is a bipolar world, well I do not mean politics, i.e. U.S.A. and Russia for sure, but yes, it is bipolar in a much bigger and greater sense!

So, I said that I pray to myself, and that we all are part – Gods. Well, if you believe in what is mentioned so far, then please do not abstain from asking yourself whether you respect yourself enough according to the power that you are bestowed with. I do not mean that we must be always doing Godly acts, but at least be pure, humble, helping, sensitive, and a few more good things. Of course, the intensity with which you adopt these characteristics, is totally at your discretion.

Whenever you are going to do a thing that you yourself do not totally approve of completely(here, ‘you’ means your conscience), just give this “I am also God” theory a flash in your mind, and then proceed according to what your mind and heart decide upon. It can act as a rule to decide whether you really want to do or not, whatever is on your mind. It can put an end to most of the dilemmas and confusions, if not all. Give it a try. But only if you believe in it, will it be most fruitful.

However, do not come under self – created burden of deeds believing that you are God, but yes a son/daughter of Him, who has got to respect the energy that he/she is blessed with, by Him. Anyways, respect all that you have got, and not JUST that energy. This can help you in turning odds into evens, because it is only when you respect the odds, can you turn them into evens. For instance, suppose you are a teacher and you come across a very weak student in your life. What do you think you should do with him, leave him to his fate, or respect the fact that he is not as good with studies as many other students, and thus, work a little extra with him? If you are of the latter opinion, then you are on my side. Well, if you work a little extra and harder with him, he might become good with studies gradually, and even respect you more than the other students for the fact that you worked extra with and for him. The sense of satisfaction and accomplishment is a bonus! So do not let the odds sat you back, rather, make those odds turn into evens for you and work for you to take you ahead in life!

So, respect your soul, respect everything else that you have got. Believe not that you are God, but part - God!

Define Your Polarity Right… because only in one direction can you walk at once!

Polarity… polarity has many definitions. A couple of which I personally love the most are:
1. Polarity is a description of an attribute, typically a binary attribute (one with two values), or a vector (a direction).
2. Polarity is a mutual opposition: a relation between two opposite attributes or tendencies.

So, what is polarity, is it important or necessary, rather is it inherent in everything? These are some of the common questions that I look forward to discuss ahead. First of all, let us talk of polarity in more real and near senses. Good and Evil, Positive and Negative, Up and Down, Left and Right, Front and behind, Disease and Health, are all examples of the concept that w understand as Polarity.

Now, talking of the necessity… A person who has not plunged deep into this theory would normally ask what could be the necessity of all the negative things, like sadness, fear, disease, darkness etc.. But, let me tell you this:
There is an absolute need for all the “wrong” things. A need, to balance everything. A need, to sustain the good. A need, to maintain order.

Yes, “chaos” is required to maintain and even feel “order”.
I know I may need to do a lot of explaining for all this, which I am going to do. So, let us start with a series of examples to prove the need and justify the existence of diseases.’

A deadly disease known to sometimes cause the following:
• Cirrhoses of the liver
• Diabetes
• Cardiomyopathy
• Arthritis
• Tanning of the skin etc.,
called, “Haemochromatosis”.

It is basically an overload of iron in a body. One NEEDS to donate blood regularly to feel good alongwith the rest of the healing processes. Even a deadly disease like this one has a great benefit, a very noble cause in which its origin is rooted… Even without a cut or a wound, we are very vulnerable to infections through our natural openings such as our mouth and the ears. Now, all bacteria, microbes, and many infectious agents need iron to survive as we do. So, in order to protect us from these infections, all these openings are iron restricted areas in our bodies whereas iron is present almost everywhere. Moreover, in response to an acquired infection, iron is locked away to prevent biological invaders to feed upon that and use it again against us. The exact thing that happens in “Haemochromatosis”.

A disease protecting against many others, created for good, may be carried on by mistake! “Mistake” would be actually a controversial word to use. I would rather say, that diseases kill and are considered bad because the environments and all the external factors keep on changing but one just cannot switch off a disease once its need is over.
It has been created, and is meant to be carried on!

Talking about a disease spreading like anything today. Diabetes!
What’s good in that? Well, it is supposed to have been there since the ice age. Right, it must have to do something with fighting cold. When you shiver, the increased muscle activity burns the sugar stored in your muscles and creates heat. That’s why the fingers and toes going numb. As the body senses cold, it constricts the thin web of capillaries in your extremities, first your fingers and toes, then further up your arms and legs. As this happens, blood is squeezed out and driven toward your torso, where it essentially provides a warm bath for your vital organs, keeping them at a safe temperature, even if it means the risk of frostbite for your extremities.

It is sensible: lose your finger, spare the liver!
When rats are exposed to freezing temperatures, their bodies become resistant to their own insulin. Essentially, they become what we call, DIABETIC, in response to cold!

Life - saving, isn’t it!?
The biggest debate in this region is whether ageing can also be life - saving in any way!

What if I said Yes? It provides two benefits. First one is Evolution! We have developed a lot of skills to fight against many diseases only due to the evolution we have gone through.

Secondly, ageing protects us by eliminating individuals that have become laden with parasites, thus preventing them from infecting the next generation. In order to describe this point more clearly, I will have to elaborate on it a bit.

Everytime a cell reproduces, it loses a little bit of DNA. In order to prevent that information loss from making a difference, your chromosomes have what amounts to extra information at their tips called Telomeres. Imagine, you have a 200-page document and need to make 50 copies but the photocopier has played a game with you. Instead of charging you money, he is just going to take off the then end page of your document after every copy he makes.

This obviously creates a problem. But then we are as I said evolved species and we are a lot more intelligent than what we used to be like hundreds of years ago. So, being a highly evolved organism, with a gift for clever solutions, you add 50 blank pages at the end of the document and hand-over a 250-page document. So, even after a 50 copies, every copy you have is complete!

Telomeres are like those blank pages, and as cells reproduce, these are shortened, and the truly valuable DNA is protected. But once a cell has reproduced 50 – 60 times these telomeres are gone.
Why to have this limit? Why to have a limit on the cellular reproduction when we could live forever.

In a word? Cancer.

Cancerous cells need to have reproduction limit so that they can be contained. Although, that’s a different story that these cells too are highly evolved, and secrete a protein called Telomerase which increase Telomeres thus making them kind of IMMORTAL!

But everything has a reason, a good one, at least for its creation.
For another example, dark skin, which people having should feel proud of, absorbs lesser UV rays and thus a reduced risk of skin cancer. People have or develop a dark colour in areas highly exposed to sunlight and heat. So, does it all not seem programmed, programmed to perfection?

Talking in non-medical terms, evil has to exist to make God what He is. I mean there has to be some darkness to be put away by light. Otherwise there seems no sense why even God should exist. Good shall only exist because there is evil and medicine should only exist because there are diseases.
Existence of just one is not only impractical and illogical, rather impossible, it seems! Neither Good nor Bad, neither Left nor Right, neither Up nor Down, rather, The BALANCE is of the essence.

Everyone subconsciously wants a perfect world, but is it really possible, because the reason I suppose perfection does not exist is because it is extremely out of balance! So, maybe we should aim for a world in control rather than a perfect world considering the real possibilities.

It is time you should try to be bipolar, I do not mean sexually, but yes intellectually! Both the directions are right. Rather it all depends on your need, which one is better for you.

A Friendly World Syndrome

I dreamt. I dreamt of a world diseased with the “friendly world syndrome”. I dreamt of a world with no conflicts but only discussable matters. A world with no wars. A world where no one is scared anymore. No one is scared of the terror attacks, sick politics, effects of corruption, wars, and being technologically left out.

What if the whole world became one? What if all the countries came together as one? What if there were no international conspiracies? What if…?

Today, we have lost our mission. It’s sad to say but we as human beings have lost the path and the goal. We are headed fast towards a goal but the sad part is that the goal itself is our own destruction. Moreover even when we are being told about this fact, still most of us tend to neglect it straight-away. It has been depicted in several movies such as the recent “2012” and the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth”, that we all are headed towards a common goal that is the annihilation of all humans. But again we chose to neglect.

I seriously fear that in the race amongst us for greater power, advanced technology, and supremacy, we are forgetting our ethics and our responsibilities towards our mother nature and the planet earth that we live upon. “Mother nature” is just a mere phrase today and it seems nobody understands the relevance of the word “mother” in it. We are eating upon our natural reserves at a speed that is more than the required and surely very alarming. We want everything. Yes, WE want everything and do not really care about what is left for the generations to come.

Moreover, everything has become mechanized. We want, rather, need machines for everything. To wake up, to bathe, to relax, to move, to play, to wash, to cook, to even breathe! For that, we have air purifiers, because of the fact that there is pollution, due to cars. Technologies are being created and updated everyday without much thought about its ill effects.

There are advertisements which directly or indirectly try to make people aware of the facts such as extinction of animals, depletion of resources, etc., mostly put to no use. I discussed with some of my friends about the “IDEA” ad that is being aired which spreads the message of saving paper and thus trees to conserve the environment. They all praised the ad and had a good laugh for the first few times of their exposure to the ad. But when I asked them what did they seriously learn from it, an average comment was like “yeah, we should save paper, but you know they only air it to increase their sales and we should not get in their trap, and still there are many trees in the world to produce enough of paper. Also, as it is we study less, and you are asking us to save MORE paper!”

As it is, the countries are depleting world’s resources at an alarming rate, to stay ahead in the technological race, and on top of that, if we, citizens will not put in our sincere effort to conserve the environment, then I fear, that our (civilization’s) end is not too far. We can control the technological race by adapting and accepting the technology just not as it comes. I mean people will produce and can sell only what everyone buys. If we reduce our consumption of paper, the companies will produce paper in lesser quantities. It’s simple.

But everyone it seems, wants to clear out his robe, and move on. We use and take paper for granted and then expect companies to go for social responsibilities and carry out tasks to conserve the environment. Not only with paper is such a case. We (with a few exceptions), do not assume proper care in using any of the technologies. The much talked about electricity. It seems there is a “save electricity” campaign beginning everyday in some corner of the world. But the fact that I mention this factor, here in this web log is that I have personally witnessed sheer carelessness regarding the use of electricity. People only care to leave, and thus often leave the switches ON.

There are a lot more of things to talk about under the same topic but I believe that it is not what we say, rather, it is what we think and what we believe in, that brings a favourable change, and if the message is clear to even a few people through this log, the rest of the matters will automatically be taken care of, as the potential of an enlightened mind is boundless. It is just the enlightenment that is necessary.

I wish not to teach anything to anyone but to initiate minds to think on themselves.

From the wrath we come, and to it we shall go!

I often wonder why do we do what we do. I mean, we spend our whole life learning about this mystical world, whatever time on earth we are bestowed with. Straight out of the womb we learn to breathe, then slowly we learn to drink, to swallow, to eat, to love someone whom we later come to know is our mother, to love others, and then we learn to learn, learn on purpose, a lot of things, some of which we believe we will never understand. The process continues until one day we die. We never tend to question the whole process. Then one day comes when we evaporate. We leave behind our body, our materials, and our hard disks containing all those learnings, called our brains behind. What goes beyond, however, is our soul, an energy which I believe we once borrowed from our mother nature. It is a well known fact that energy can neither be created, nor destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another. This energy called our soul, we must have borrowed once, and death, is in all logic probably the time to return it to the almighty, the supreme power, or the reservoir.

If we zoom out, and look at a much broader picture, than what we are accustomed to, we are likely to understand the kind of learning we are practicing, and the kind of it we must, the kind of actions we are delivering, and the kind of those we should perform. I mean money is too volatile a thing to be run after, success is quite less, and we must understand the little but ever so important difference between the two. Good deed count is the most important count that one must focus upon.

In the complex system of life that we have created for ourselves, we often fail to understand that world itself is a society, and that we should work for its welfare as we do for our residents’ or local society. We also mostly forget that one thing that is most important is to be happy and spread happiness. All that we do is for happiness and still we focus less on the purpose than the actions themselves. We have money on our minds most of the time, but we forget that we want to earn this money because we want happiness in our life, and it is such a pity, that we mostly compromise or sacrifice that itself, our happiness, for the sake of earning the same money.

Earlier, rules were created to maintain a balance, so that everyone remains happy. Rules still exist, but people who maintain them have lost the purpose of these rules, they just follow them blindly, and expect others to do the same. I think we should start questioning our deeds, start reasoning our actions and thoughts, and start doing what actually needs to be done, as one, because one day this energy whose use is upon our subjectivity, is to be returned, most likely without warning, and then when the reality reflects upon our face, what can be done at that time, is merely satisfactory.

From the wrath we come, and to it we shall go.

Our souls are returned and our bodies destroyed. Make use of them wisely, very wisely because humans, above all animals, are the only ones who can actually make wise use of this energy, as little do we already allow animals to do!

Fast, not Insane… Striking The Balance!

The other day I was driving, with my little sister by my side. The road was quite wide and empty, and I was driving at a decent 80kmph. Suddenly, my sister almost screamed “drive fast!!!” and I was like “what’s the hurry, let’s just enjoy the drive”. She is 14.
Sometimes I sit alone and wonder, whether the upcoming generations will be able to cope with the ‘always-in-a-hurry’ lifestyle, and save themselves from the damage that it can cause. Actually, I am a little worried. Even the fresh teenagers of today do not have the time to stop and think what’s going on. Introspection is far away!
Our own lifestyle is getting more and more complicated by the months, and I don’t know what will the following generation do, to sort things out at times! One thing is positive, and that is, that the pressure has made the upcoming generations, more sharp when it comes to intelligence… but again, that can be dangerous too, as anything before proper time has implications. If they know about good things, they may be knowing about the bad ones.
My niece who is just 6 years of age, looked at a picture of something like a rocket but a little more complicated, and said “You know I can explain to you everything in this picture”. I thought let’s hit on the child’s creativity and imagination, and asked her to explain. In an instant, she was off, telling me about things like the main cylinder, support cylinders carrying fuel, the main shuttle, the astronaut’s space, cylinders being shut off at zero gravity to save on fuel etc.. That was quite some knowledge for me, not being so much into that science in life! Kids can be so dangerously potent to make you realise, that you have been wasting much of your time in life!
Well, that’s the brighter side. Certainly, I’m worried about the other one.
One day, a friend of my sister came to our place for lunch. As I was savouring my favourite dish, ‘Indian Shahi Paneer’, she had a very important question for me that she shot… “do you have a girlfriend?” I felt as if a rock fell on my head straight from the sky… what do I say! If people of her age, can ask questions like these to the elder brothers of their friends, then about what all, would they be thinking by themselves, looks haunting. Courage at the wrong place is as bad, as it is good in the right place!
These kids want to be fast, and technology is their best friend. Facebook, PSP, X-BOX, Blackberry, I-Phone, Laptop… these are their luxuries, or rather basic amenities I would say! Socialising is fashion, and group associations, a need. Although I would like to appreciate that they are becoming more conscious about what’s going on around them and that they assume responsibilities for social causes. They are aware of a lot of things and happenings around them. But at the same time, they are also aware of a lot of things like booze, cigarettes etc.. One day, I was shocked to witness a boy of around 15, smoking outside his school just round the corner. They are short of leisures! If they start smoking at this age, they will certainly help in a country’s major problem, which is over-population! It’s sad, very sad!
Relationships! Relationships are a day’s game these days. Maybe a teenager today in every 10, would have undergone multiple break-ups and patch-ups in a single day. Being in a relationship for many, has become a social need even at an age of 16. The person drinks, he’s cool, the person smokes too, he’s cooler, the person is having an affair, he’s cooler still. Not all, but this is the mentality that is exhibited by most. The problem is not in them, but rather, the environment that they are creating for themselves, as well as for the generations to come.
Movies! Talking about majority, movies are their religion, and actors are their gods. They are obviously not much mature at an age of say 14, but are still exposed to a lavish lifestyle of an actor depicted in most movies, which they dream of. Lavish may also mean here as, involving regular activities such as visiting discos, bars, having multiple girlfriends etc.. They start dreaming of all this… courtesy – premature exposure to technology. They do not know what to follow, and what is there just for the sake of the movie’s storyline. All they know is, that they want to imitate all of that. There is no filter in their mind, at that age.
In this race, some trained minds are left behind, and are called uncool and boring because of the mere fact, that they know well, what to do and when. A lot of definitions are required to be revised, and really early.
I feel that, we should show them more of classical ways to enjoy their life, such as enjoying the nature’s beauty, swinging on the swings, listening to music – just listening, playing rather than just clubbing, playing indoor games with family too, getting involved in activities such as cooking, pottery, dance, music, and art. We are required to give them directions, and if we ourselves are stuck so hard in our lives only, then they can be expected to be in an even bad state, with their current lifestyle, by the time they reach your age!
It’s time to think, and do that is required to pull them, and even ourselves, out of this marsh of ‘no-time-for-health’ lifestyle.

Science, Magic, Religion... Entangled!

Science is surely a word much greater than just a compulsory subject to pursue the hot course of engineering, greater than the abbreviation that we commonly use as "pcm", greater than the scales, compasses, and drafters used. It's much beyond, much beyond our imaginations and that's why it's a practice no matter how much we advance into the field. We rather seem to extend the scope of science, each time we advance more into it just as a dog tries to catch its own tail, which runs away further just at the last moment.

Science is often misinterpreted as a study that draws you away from God, i.e., the higher power. Rather, it should be interpreted as the means to reach that power in my opinion, because, if there is something that is closest to that higher power, it is science. It is rather, a connecting medium between humans and God. How?

Well, first let's consider you being a so-called "believer", and thus, one who does not believe that science brings you closer to your God/Goddess. So, you pray to Him every morning, having no idea as whom exactly you are worshipping, and believing that he is omnipresent - but how and in what form, no idea. I mean, obviously, how can you say anything about that. But let's consider that you believe in science, and thus try to reason everything you sense and feel. Then, if you dig even a little into science, you can be easily convinced that the higher power you are worshipping, is a form of energy, and that energy can be easily present anywhere or everywhere, and in any form. Moreover, it can be believed that your thoughts are also a form of energy too, as is your soul that when leaved your body, your body is incapable of doing a verb. Then, when you pray with proper reasoning, obviously your prayer has greater meaning, more intensity, and a higher degree of honesty, and clarity. In other words, your prayer is probably better communicated, and heard.

Go on, reason, judge, conclude, satisfy yourself, and then take action.

And yes, when I say your thoughts are a form of energy, I mean it. Noetic science is a science that deals with the power of spirit and thoughts. Here is an excerpt from a document on wikipedia, describing Noetic science and its scope.

" The theory of noetics, centers around the idea that the human mind is capable of affecting, or even doing work to the physical world. It is suggested that thought and spirit are not in fact imaginery, but Bose or Photon based, meaning essentially, that the mind can be quantified by formulae, which describe quantum materials such as light. Just as gravity affects all matter, so do thoughts to an apperent less degree. Psychokinesis, more often called telekinesis, is concerned with the direct influence of mind on matter." - Courtesy Wikipedia.

It has also been studied that the combined mindset of thousands of people, in case of a worldwide crisis, can affect the sensex drastically (it is a sensitive index after all), and that, thousands of minds transmitting the same thought, can change a substance at its nuclear level.

I am a true believer of God, and still I believe in science as a religion, and I don't think that this combination is anything unusual. Rather I think, it is the most usual, and the best one indeed. Suppose, we all adopt science as our religion, rather than sticking to our respective religions, but at the same time, do believe in our mythologies, epics, and our religious backgrounds, not treating them as myth-ologies literally. Thus, lesser controversiesand clashes, among religions. Everything that has been mentioned in our holy books can be surely true, as most of the events have a date-line or an era-line attached which has some evidence too to prove the authenticity that is involved. Moreover, there have been discoveries like finding the remains of temples, that are dated back to our mythological age, and also the discoveries of the remains (rocks) of the bridge between India and Sri Lanka believed to be built by Sri Ram Himself. These discoveries, rather validate the happenings of the events, that are mentioned in our mentioned in our holy books.

Moreover, we can search for the science linkages here too. Who knows the technology behind agni-baan (fire-arrow) mentioned in the epics, is unleashed by the year 2015, and the advancements in the field of guided missiles, may one day lead us to the technology behind the chakra used by Sri Krishna to kill the demons! After all, it has some connection, isn't it?

It seems that we are not making discoveries in science, but rather rediscoveries, as many quote it. The science that we possesed once, has been lost somewhere, a treasure carelessly lost, or may be hidden, or rather coded as in the Vedas, Upnishads, and other respective holy books, in every religion. Many believe that Vedas contain knowledge, that is yet to be deciphered, and that can prove to be highly beneficial for all.

Moreover, after the loss of this valuable knowledge, which can be easily termed science, there would have been certainly a phase, when flying in the sky meant to be a magic, and that too, which was impossible to execute. But then, the Wright Brothers proved this to be rather, a science. We may be treating, "thought-controlled actions" today as magic, but may be one day, "Noetic Science" will reason them efficiently enough, to convince us that it is science.

There are many examples relating to scientific discoveries in the history, that you will probably accept to be considered as magic tricks at one time, but later proved to be pure science, such as:

1. Accelerating Universe;

2. Human Genome;

3. DNA Fingerprinting;

4. Cloning - the magic of a person being at more than one place at once in the ancient past may have its roots laid in the science of cloning, who knows! ;

5. Worldwide Web; and,

6. X-rays - looking through a solid mass! Certainly magical until 1895.

So, take your call, the Science is yours!!!
